Workshop: Beginner Stained Glass

Create a beautiful piece of art using stained glass techniques. You'll learn how to score, break, and shape colorful pieces of glass to create a beautiful decorative item. Students will be able to select from two designs. A variety of color options will be available.

Grades 1–3 students discover the joy of mixed media in this engaging homeschool class designed to spark curiosity and confidence. Working in both 2D and 3D, young artists explore a wide variety of obscure and surprising materials—from textured papers and found objects to recycled and natural elements. Through hands-on experimentation, students learn to combine techniques, solve creative challenges, and think outside the box.

In this dynamic art class designed for fourth graders and older, students will dive into the exciting world of mixed media and material exploration. Building on foundational art skills—such as drawing, composition, and color theory—they’ll experiment with a wide range of materials to create imaginative, layered works of art.

Explore the magic of botanical gelli printing in this hands-on workshop. Using leaves, flowers, and layered color, you’ll create one-of-a-kind prints full of texture and surprise.

Class: Stained Glass Mosaic

Geared toward beginners who want to explore basic glass mosaic techniques: This class covers preparation of the substrate, design planning, scoring, cutting, and shaping glass, a variety of tesserae nipping techniques, and grouting for a finished product ready to display. Students will be introduced to a wide variety of mosaic tools and materials and will complete a framed Glass on Glass mosaic picture with the beauty and translucence of stained glass art. A variety of patterns will be supplied.

Workshop: Bingo Bugs

Design and build your own whimsical bug, moth, or imaginary creature, then attach it to a bingo card base. Bring your own card or pick from a selection we’ll have on hand. Use found and handmade papers to collage an existing insect—or invent one straight from your imagination. You’ll have the option to enhance your creation with paint and other mixed media materials. We’ll cover basic collage techniques, but all experience levels are welcome. Want to take it further? You can even add machine stitching to finish your piece with flair.

Workshop: DIY Colorful Scratchboards

Uncover a rainbow of fun in this colorful scratchboard workshop! Kids will first create their own scratchboards and then scratch away the black coating to reveal bright, bold colors underneath, turning their designs into vibrant works of art. This hands-on class is full of creativity, giggles, and artistic adventure.

Class: Music Lessons

Private music lessons are offered for ages 7+ at all skill levels, from beginner to experienced. Options include piano, guitar, ukulele, bass, woodwinds, and brass instruments. Financial assistance available

Debut your original music or perform a favorite cover song on the stage in the Eagles Theatre Ballroom. Invite your family and friends to and enjoy a casual evening of live music. All ages and abilities are welcome!

Calling all woodwind, brass, and rhythm section players—come make music with us on the Eagles Theatre stage! Drop In Band is a laid-back, welcoming group where musicians of all levels can enjoy playing together and connect through music in a fun, supportive setting.
Haven’t played in a while? No problem! This is the perfect chance to dust off your instrument and jump back in. There’s no audition or performance—just bring your instrument and enthusiasm!
