Students will spend three weeks working as a team learning music, blocking, and choreography to produce a fully staged production. With beautiful music and stunning costumes, Anastasia is a spectacular new musical about discovering who you are and defining who you’re meant to be.
Students who would like to be considered for a lead role must audition by May 15. If the student is unable to attend any of the scheduled audition dates and is interested in a lead role, you must contact the Director of Arts, Carolyn Stoner, cstoner@honeywellarts.org to schedule a private appointment. Students who do not audition will be in the ensemble.
Auditions will be at the Eagles Theatre on May 3 from 5-7 pm; May 4 from 10 am-12 pm; and May 15 from 5-7 pm.
Students should prepare a musical theatre/Broadway song to perform. Students will be asked to sing no more than 1 minute of your piece. Please bring an extra copy of the piano music/accompaniment if possible. Students will also be asked to read selections from the script.
Optional Boot Camps will be offered again this year. Students will get a jump start on the choreography for the show on May 29 – June 1. Additional details will be provided at auditions.
