Honeywell Arts Academy Intern

About The Honeywell Foundation

The Honeywell Foundation, DBA Honeywell Arts & Entertainment, is dedicated to the enhancement of artistic, social, cultural, and recreational opportunities for all. We are a nonprofit arts organization located in Wabash, Indiana. Founded in 1941 by industrialist Mark C. Honeywell, the Foundation reaches hundreds of thousands of guests each year through a variety of arts offerings including live concerts, visual art programs, family festivals, and recreational events. Offerings take place online and at six venues: the Honeywell Center, Honeywell House, Eagles Theatre, Charley Creek Gardens, Dr. James Ford Historic Home, and the 13-24 Drive In.

Our Culture

Every team member plays an important role in our mission.  We are a strengths-based organization that recognizes the need for individual development and clarity in purpose.  We highly value teamwork and are seeking a high-potential, energetic, fun, “can-do” multi-tasker with a passion for serving others to join our team. Our core values of Teamwork, Innovation, Excellence, Service, and Stewardship guide everything we do at the Honeywell Foundation.

Core Competencies

The Honeywell Arts Academy is founded on a philosophy called “Sharing of Knowledge,” breaking down barriers of the typical teacher-student relationship and realizing the value of shared knowledge. Through this philosophy, Academy interns will be empowered to contribute perspectives through real-world problem solving and program execution. We’re looking for two interns who are motivated, creative, and currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Arts Administration or a related field. Join our team built on excellence, collaboration, and innovation to propel your career forward.

This is an eight-week internship that runs from May 5, 2025 through June 27, 2025. Stipends of $1200 paid in June and an additional $1200 paid in July are available to selected hires. The Honeywell Arts Academy Intern will be on-site in Wabash, Indiana for Academy activities and events from May 30 through June 21, 2025 with room and board provided. All other program requirements will be completed virtually.  Approximately 15-20 hours of work per week are anticipated.

Honeywell Arts Academy is a full-scholarship emerging artist institute that identifies and launches innovative musicians into the music industry through musical and entrepreneurial education, as well as performance opportunities. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain true hands on knowledge on how to effectively execute a summer arts program.
